Women in HVACR hosted their 14th Annual Conference in Fort Worth Texas, September 27th -29th at the Tarrant County College Center for Energy Excellence. This was the first stand-alone conference since the organization was founded.

WHVACR is a national organization that provides networking opportunities, mentoring and education for women in all areas of the HVACR industry, including technical, sales, management and ownership.

Women in HVACR conference participants enjoyed workshops, educational sessions and listening to great speakers such us: Jessica McKinney, Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International Ambassador; Rhonda Wiggins, HVACR instructor at Hennepin Technical College;  Melissa Santillan, TCC graduate; Matt Michel, CEO of Service Roundtable and Elizabeth McCormick, former U.S. Army Black Hawk pilot.

By attending this conference our team made connections with key influencers and other valuable leaders. We appreciate the dialog the conference creates – it allows participants to come together and have a meaningful discussion about the direction that our field needs to take.
